I HAVE A RELATIONSHIP

Among various rhymesters
and other erudite word-masters
I wonder what for do I look
by writing poetry, rather than cook ...

The apiece straight in his mind makes
any song with rhythm, his heart breaks
as his soul let his music flow
pounding his drum and where the go!

The one sings with nice rhyme or philosophy
to attract noble souls in his company
The other for his sorrows starts writing
he hates philosophies, he needs crying

All write, what they call poetic
to cut them, shame! But it's not logical
in the poets' bouillon  to go astray
and wait "thumbs up" to find in your way ...

I won't  argue I didn't have with Poetry
a crush passerby nor bigotry
she passed within me intravenously
I go along with her every night anxiously

I'd say that although she's female
My passion for her  goes up a legendary scale
She shocked me inside voluntarily
she has penetrated in my soul unexpectedly

She flipped me inside out
pushes me to my limits just before burn out
she's jealously  gnawing my time always
from all what I loved she separates me any ways

I show her off as my luxury courtesan
and I flaunt as if our love was apogean
I satisfy every of her excesses
I think she drags me helpless amid her "silk panties"

It 's a conceit to argue that I have her
once I desire her then I cannot withstand her
I adore her: she let me  express myself frank when suffocated

without being subjugated to the crowd's"loyal and sacred"

Οδυσσέας Ελύτης Άσμα ηρωικό και πένθιμο για τον χαμένο ανθυπολοχαγό της Αλβανίας (1945) / Odysseas Elytis Song Heroic And Mourning for the lost Lieutenant in Albania (1945 ) 1

Οδυσσέας Ελύτης Άσμα ηρωικό και πένθιμο για τον χαμένο ανθυπολοχαγό της Αλβανίας (1945) / Odysseas Elytis Song Heroic And Mourning for the lost Lieutenant in Albania (1945) Απόσπασμα 2 / Abstract 2

DOOMED EYES

Do you see my eyes?
Watch them closer...
They are doomed
Fear them though! Yes!
They will stare at you

Ο ΑΝΔΡΙΑΝΤΑΣ / THE STATUE

Edward Shahda - Syrian Artist
Coronation child (a tribute to the children of Gaza), 2009, acrylic on canvas, 150x150 cm

RAGE

Taif Ali Al Jurdi - Syrian Artist

I'm really mad today!
It comes to me from time to time...
When I  squeeze my hands till they bleed.
My guts and my jaws tighten up.

Taif Ali Al Jurdi

WHATEVER I HID FROM YOU

My heart
My only heart
My heart is sensitive
My heart is fatal
My heart will betray me
as you betrayed me, you,
who were in my heart
Did I ever told you about my heart ?
I will never tell you about it
I gave it to you  broken
I said it will smash in pieces in your hands
And even now it bares life although cracked
My heart is a liar, my heart
My heart my crazy heart
aspires to stop fearing
stop crying
stop stop
and rest
stop
my heart my faulty  heart
it bore a lot, it bore too long
for a doomed heart
in the cool soft fluffy soil
there I will put my heart
It won't remember you
You won't remember it
It won't see you leaving.

It was like if I waited for you, my lady,
tonight that it was not blowing outside, even a breath
and I said : She'll come out tonight from the waters, and from the woods !

She'll come because my soul's fluttering
because my eye's writhing like a fish ,
so that the young moon to smell lights, sun and rain! ...

Well here , I'm tidying up your seat,
I decorate my room with wild mint ,
and I'm already starting with you , my golden, a talk.

About well ... people will be astonished saying " nay! "
they're calling me crazy, and say you've become smoke
and fuzzy clouds , towards the moon ...

It got dark and you didn't come up...
I went out to find you on the the streets, woe, woe !
but you were stumbling(where I also were) ,my golden , with me! ...

So much you loved me , my lady ,that
I was hearing double my steps!
I was, the blind one, splashing my feet in the waters and you also were, by me! ...
