AM I A POET?

Roots by Heather Offord
painting 'Roots'  BY Heather Offord

It is so difficult to me
to go out and talk about
what I write!
I write just because
I can not talk about it

Thank you, thank you!
I'm not a poet...
I just read others poems
I just can not stop writing poems
I hope I do not offend poetry
through my poems

Honey, you are a great poet
What makes a poet great?
The readers? Nope!
Time is the owner of the greatness
Time is the only one who can offer you
a sip of this powerful wine.

Once you said, my friend...
Do you want to be eternal?
You have the power to charm
millions of people, go on!
Do you want this or the eternity?
Think! What element in you
is eternal for sure? I said
I don't know and you whispered
Die or stay with your ancestors spirit!
Throw away anything else.

I'm in a turbulent world
living a turbulent life
Passion, love, sorrow, death
disrupted me, disoriented me
I keep in my heart what you said
I must stop  mewling
I just need to quench my immense thirst
absorbing wisdom through my roots
Then perhaps I would dare to call myself a poet...

AN OTHER KIND OF LOVE

BEAUTIFUL WOMAN FROM AJANTA CAVE PAINTINGS BANGLADESH
I keep you in my mind
the whole day through
not feeling firing passion
which burnt me before
that's concrete but
your love and presence in my life
makes me complete
Eros is torturing me for years
with horrible wars and
painful depression with
tragic hopeless suicidal obsession
I need your hungry but joyful lust
which heals the wounds and nurtures my wants
I need your steady spontaneous affection
which guides me to work on my being's perfection
I need you so wise as vulnerable you are
Perhaps you don't see it but you've stolen my heart.

THE BATH

I want to take a warm steamy bath
into oblivion's lake
To wash out every spot of remembrance
complete amnesia
to leave my body nude, floating, reborn
right out of Earth's womb
to dream of your eyes not thinking anything else
than our bound souls
neither knowing who you are nor who I am
amazed in love
neither being conscient of the past nor of the future
but of the moment
Please, stop torturing me, leave me alone, and forget!
Your part of me's dead.

SIMOOM

How comfortably I nestle
in lustful prison of my wants
under the pretext of exhaustion!
I distorted my creative vivid self
into a slow moving crawling animal
sick prey to soul-eating hungry passions .
Where is the happy human I was, before?
Oh, I wonder, I lost control? I shudder.
Beautifully I mused undoubtedly in
my familiar cradle of logic!
Simoom,my chaotic thymic both
excites and corrupts me ...

RELATIVITY

Relativity by Paul J. Iutzi

I'm sitting right here thinking
I was reading your old poems
when you were in love with me
in your first
I was an innocent fairy
in your last
I was a plague upon you
the first evil after which
myriads of evils followed
I  became an unbearable sin
Dirt in your clear water
Do not flatter yourself
As a betrayed often say
You are not different than others
You quenched your thirst
you threw away the remaining
that was my  heart in love
My hopes for long living love
were one more time belied
Emotions are usually related with wear
Fine examples of relativity...
depending on the point of view and on time
They appear as events
we can only remember

SMILE!

You are not so strong
You are not so young
You are not so healthy
I don't think you're even wealthy
but you are the one
'cause I see in your dream
I 'm a muse serene
who inspires creation
out of life's recession
and you need my hand
to caress your cheek
and you need my smile
to gouge hope from the deep
and you need my body
as a boat so steady
to be safe to sail
for your own eternity

I THINK I'LL BE SAVED WHEN I FALL DOWN

Sometimes I feel so small and irrational
http://uchopo.deviantart.com/art/save-me-from-myself-92631803
I do not know how to produce
I never learned
I just know how to create
I know how to walk against the wind
This makes me so poor and
in the same time so rich!
People respect me
People praise my acts
People admire my writings
People love me
I'm alone though
I fight alone
My lovers scared and went away
thinking I'm mighty and
I can stand it
My relatives consider me as a saviour
thinking I'm mighty
I can walk alone and always give
My children are always waiting me for help
My friends...I love them, who could I hurt?
Who's going to help me?
There was someone
He seemed to understand
but in the end he didn't again
He hurt me most of all
I feel as a rose whithered
before to blossom
I feel as a thing used to be used
I cry in the night my needs never satisfied
What a pity, lately I don't even believe in Paradise
And you, you are too away and different
to pay  my price. You can not.
You will just be
someone more in my croud of takers.

INCOMPATIBILITY

Do you know
my soul
I can fool you?
I write a theatrical play
each day
with everything
and with everyone
in my life
I play with it...
Even with myself.
I laugh at you
deranged one!
I use my pen
to soothe my pain
I write lies all over
I must survive...
Truth is cruel
truth makes me die
truth reminds me
of the end,
of death.
I want to love you
but I can not
My heart ackes
My heart is hurt
My love is a hurt
I better hide it
I better get lost
I better engrave my
stroger feelings
They are not
compatible with you
Our bodies bewitched
will turn around
using lubricated friction
by all those liquids
betraying our sour want
The moments will be
inspiring
empowering
and exciting
Orgasms may be real
although our hearts
will enjoy their loneliness
which protects them...
I am for you
you are for me
we're not for each other
though...

Soulmates BY SNOW (CLICK HERE)“Everyone goes around trying to find their soulmate, but no matter how hard they look they can never find it. So instead, they force two bodies together.”

Painting by Edward Burne-Jones entitled The Sleeping Beauty. It was painted in 1890, as part of The Briar Rose series.
