Black ebony tree
grows in Africa
Many wicked abusers
want to axe or saw it
want to use it and gain from it
want to underestimate it
But the black ebony tree
raises its elliptical head
above other trees around
spreads its branches to the sky
just like green bouffant-hair
blown by the wind
Dark night's tree trunk
lengthening straight upright
from the earth's surface
blossoming an abundance of
purple struggling flowers
Purple is the color of sorrow
Purple is the color of mourn
Black and purple death when
these flowers wither
when the thick hard trunk falls down
after so many attacks with axes
So much hunger and thirst for survival
so much faith and justice and glory
towards the bright blue sky
