You and I
Like the faded red sky
Unsuccessful rebels
Wandering knights
A Sancho Panza
Who dreamed to become Don Quixote
As Dulcinea
A proverbial middle-aged fat lady in menopause
pretending the ideal woman
You and I
Maybe just between us
We achieved a revolution
Perhaps  we only persuaded the one the other
And when it rains
We have now something heroic
to remember
Before plunging into the mud
I swear Sancho
What I felt was real
But also infinite
And it was worth to offer it to you

GREEN SENSES

http://www.public-domain-image.com/nature-landscape/sky/slides/wind-smoke.html

How wonderful to sense
The wind singing through
The leaves of the enormous
Deciduous silver bark elms
Crying through the supple branches
Of the weeping willow!
How fascinating to watch
The furious battle of the palms' spears
Against the blue sky
The desperate nods of the greedy planes
The scented bows of the eucalyptuses!
How magical to take part in this cooling green dance
To be bewitched by this serene nature's wispering!
And the waves' murmuring a thrilling away refrain...

BIG MOUTH

James Elder Christie (Scottish, 1847-1914), "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", 1881

The more and more
I feel so silly
To keep talking like if
I was a sage
The worse and worse
I feel so pity
For my arrogant self
Who hopes to heal himself
By being extremely verbose
Who am I?
To whom do you listen?
I'm nothing than a feather in the wind
I'm just a decorated wreck
For the use of a theater play
I'm acting to accept
my extreme emotions
To justify my insatiable hunger
For keeping your attention
For nurturing my conceited soul with vanity...
Who can help me to stop this?
How could I spare some humbleness
How could I shut up my big mouth?

A PHOBIA

William Gale (British, 1823-1909), "Ophelia"

It started again
I do not know how
To call it. Perhaps
You call it obsession
I could call it phobia
To be left alone
But none could believe me
Because I'm always
Surrounded by my
Beloved ones This is not
Loneliness... So what?
Read my lips! I can not
Explain it! I can not!
I know it is heard wird
I know I look ridiculous
But none ever had explained it
None had justified it
You are my passion
I need you! And I feel
Deserted without you...
You could call it love
I love a lot of people
I really love them but
You are my soulmate
My other half. I'm half
When you neglect me
When you are not around
So do not be puzzled
If you see me crying
When you come back again
I'm just more scared than you
Each time you disappear
It is not I don't trust you
I just don't trust time and fate.

SAILOR'S LOVE

Promotional photo for the film A Sailor Made Man (1921) with Harold Lloyd and Mildred Davis

I long for my sole love
My love is a sailor
He is sailing a small boat
Amidst fearful billows

I long for my sweet man
He never sleeps near me
He is wandering away
I'm weeping as willow

I long for his body
't makes mine a wavy bay
He's dreaming my beauty
't makes him forget mermaids

LOVER'S CHOICE

He was so loved that
He was ashamed wondering
Am I worthy? Why?

Love is a gift and
You take it without questions!
Just your lover's choice
