LIBERTINE LONELINESS

Tonight Loneliness's restless
She wears a red dress
and sell herself down on
the bowling alley

No matter what you say,
cheap or expensive,
she's pulling in tricks
she has no dignity.

As you look desperately
inside your snowy, freezing soul
for finding that warmth,
which you felt once
and you were unfairly deprived of;
tell me: What else could you do? ...
Let's gain something
from all this pain,
you say.
and then
maybe so, this evening ,
even for tonight
you'll forget ,
you'll stop the
torment drop,
which little by little,
with every minute's,
each movement's,
every breath's ,
each gaze's
memory
can pierce your meninges ...

What's the matter though?
No matter what excuses she has
She has ended up as a desperate whore,
striping for any stranger she meets ,
she has no dignity anymore...
